When Asking for Help

Include in your request:

  • ClaudeKit version (claudekit --version)
  • Operating system and version
  • Node.js version (node --version)
  • Specific command or workflow you’re using
  • Error messages (full stack traces)
  • Expected vs actual behavior
  • Steps to reproduce the issue

Good example:

Hi! I'm having trouble with the /cook command on my Next.js project.

ClaudeKit version: 1.0.0
OS: macOS 14.0
Node.js: v18.17.0

Command: /cook "add user authentication with Better Auth"

Error: "Better Auth skill not found"
Expected: Should detect Next.js project and activate Better Auth skill

Project structure:
- next.config.js exists
- package.json includes better-auth
